Our customer called us after purchasing this painting in an antique store. She must have an eye for hidden beauty! It was covered in layers of dirt and grime in addition to having two tears! Much of the painting was dark brown. Now she has a lovely piece of 19th-century artwork that she can hang on her wall with great pride. The colors in this English landscape sparkle with color. We know the artist must be very relieved! 🙂
