Holes? Tears? Scratches? Dirty? Frame Damage? Abrasions? This fine art oil painting had all of these issues and needed restoration!
It had been previously restored by another restorer who had just painted black paint on top of areas that should have been repaired very differently.
After the restoration, not only were the above issues repaired but the beautiful light and shadow that the artist painted were visible.
The issues were caused by poor shipping, age, and a poor previous restoration.
The client, as you will hear in the video, said that it was amazing to see the transformation.
